ICF is currently seeking 2 Senior CEQA/NEPA Project Managers / Team Managers for our Irvine and Los Angeles offices.  These are full-time positions. 
Job Description:
The primary duty of this role is to manage and provide oversight for the preparation of CEQA/NEPA documents for large complex projects, and to serve in a leadership role for a team of environmental planners. This candidate will have strong project management experience, team leadership skills, and will be heavily client focused. ICF is looking to grow the environmental planning practice, and the ideal candidate will have business development acumen and key contacts in the industry. Projects may vary and include residential/ commercial/ industrial development for municipal and developer clients; infrastructure and public works projects for municipal agencies and water/sanitation districts; renewable energy and transmission lines for public/private utility companies and developers; schools and campus plans for local school districts, community colleges, and universities; ports and coastal development projects; and others as necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee all aspects of a project including client contact, agency coordination, budget control, invoicing, schedule, personnel allocation/planning, public interest facilitation, technical approach, and subcontractor involvement.
Perform QA/QC review of all documents, reports, presentation, technical memorandums, and other work products with a focus on regulatory compliance and technical adequacy.  
Provide team management of up to 10 employees, including mentoring and training of junior staff, workload balancing, recruiting and staffing, monitoring staff performance relative to goals and company metrics
Develop business and market new and existing and clients to grow the environmental planning practice.

Basic Qualifications: 
Bachelors degree or higher in environmental planning, or related field
10+ years of professional related experience in a consulting environment
Advanced knowledge and understanding of CEQA, NEPA, and other environmental regulations
Preferred Skills/Experience:
Experience managing project teams
Experience supervising staff
Masters degree in environmental planning or related field
Professional Skills:
Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills
Strong organizational and time management skills
