Established consulting firm specializing in planning, management services, and marketing for the public transportation industry is seeking an individual who possess high initiative and demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Optimal candidate must be detailed-oriented, possess excellent communication and organizational skills, and function successfully within a deadline-oriented environment. This is not a sales position. Prior business development and/or public sector consulting experience preferred. Strong writing skills are essential.
Job Description:
Proposal Writer to assist in development of proposals and bid documents. Must have demonstrated experience in report writing, meeting deadlines, and communicating technical information in a clear manner. Experience in journalism, marketing, or technical writing preferred.
Job Requirements:
· Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
· Excellent written and oral communication skills.
· Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
· Solid time management skills.
· Reliable transportation.
Academic and Professional Requirements:
Undergraduate degree or equivalent. Prior experience in a professional, corporate environment a plus.
