LA - APA is pleased to join the Los Angeles Business Council, as a cooperating organization this year at the Los Angeles Business Council’s (LABC) 4th Annual Sustainability Summit entitled “Building a Green Economy: Connecting Sustainability to Business and Job Creation”. This year’s summit is hosted in concert with The Getty, Los Angeles City Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa and the LABC on Tuesday, April 6th from 7:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in the Harold M. Williams Auditorium at the Getty.
Much is in store for the upcoming 2010 Summit! We will introduce our inaugural “Salon of Masters”series convening a select group of sustainability industry pioneers. California Attorney General Jerry Brown will participate on the panel alongside former US Secretary of Commerce Mickey Kantor, Laura Lee Martin, Vice President and CFOR, Jones Lang LaSalle, Scott Lyle, Senior Vice President of Operations, Arden Realty, Kevin Ratner, Senior VP of Development, Forest City and Elon Musk, Founder and Chairman, Tesla Motors. The conversational roundtable will illuminate the defining moments along each of these pioneers’ paths, and their respective visions for the future.
Specific panel topics this year will include business’ role in helping achieve renewable goals and how we develop and grow green business.
