Design, Community & Environment, a comprehensive planning, urban design, and landscape architecture firm, is looking to fill an intermediate level Planner position in our Ventura office.  The ideal candidate will have 1 to 2 years of professional experience.

With a staff of 50 and offices in Berkeley, Ventura and San Diego, DC&E serves cities and counties throughout California. DC&E's comprehensive planning work includes community-wide General Plans, environmental review, transportation planning and community involvement.  For this position direct experience and interest in general planning and environmental review is required.  Position responsibilities include:

*  Researching and writing sections of General Plans and  environmental documents, as directed by management staff

* Production of graphic diagrams for DC&E projects

*  GIS analysis and map production
