2010 APA LOS ANGELES SECTION AWARDS

Request for NominationsAPA-LA Awards Call for Nominations - Extended Deadline now March 12th!

We need your help in identifying and nominating outstanding planning projects, activities, and individuals in the Los Angeles region for the
2010 American Planning Association (APA) Awards. This is your opportunity to gain recognition for the efforts of your Department, Firm, or City
in contributing to the field of planning.

The local level of the awards program, run by the Los Angeles Section of the American Planning Association, will accept nominations until Friday, March 12, 2010, in approximately 25 categories including awards for planners, elected officials, planning schools, and journalists working within Los Angeles County.

Additional information about the categories and the nomination process is available on the Los Angeles Section’s website at www.la-apa.org.  The APA Los Angeles Section winners will be invited to proceed to the statewide competition and the California Chapter winners will compete for the national APA awards.

The nomination process is simple.
Just complete the one-page nomination form (also available on the website) and submit it no later than March 12, 2010 along with seven (7) digital copies of your project each burned on a separate CD, including up to ten (10) digital images for the awards slide show in JPEG format to:
