Its time for the annual 2009 APA Los Angeles Planning Awards reception and ceremony!

This fun event is open to all members and guests, and is a great way to get involved and see the best of APA Los Angeles.  If you haven't come to any APA events yet this year, this is the event for you.

This years APA Planning Awards will take place the evening of Wednesday, June 17, in the beautiful Gold Room at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium.  Built in 1931, the Pasadena Civic Auditorium hosts Broadway musicals, world class ballet, symphony orchestras and celebrity speakers as well as the Prime Time Emmy Awards, the People's Choice Awards, and American Idol. This classic building, a key feature of the Pasadena Civic Center, is the perfect setting to recognize last year's Landmark Award recipient: the stellar restoration of historic Pasadena City Hall. 

Please join us in recognizing innovative individuals, plans, and planning efforts at the American Planning Association, Los Angeles Section 2009 Awards Ceremony and Reception. These award recipients have been selected as the best in planning for the Los Angeles County region in 2009, and winners will continue on to the California Chapter Awards in the fall. Invite your friends and colleagues to join us for an evening of food and fun as we honor the outstanding achievements of this year's award winners and celebrate another year in planning. 

Registration opens at 5pm. Mixer/Reception: 5-6:30pm. Program: 6:30pm.

Program cost: $38 / $25 students.
